Personal Care Products Business · Technical & Manufacturing · Full time — KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE : • Recommend and advise the Management through his sound knowledge the impacts of various environment pollution parameters and suggest ways & means of controlling the same as per laid down regulations. • Ensure through regular rounds/ proper liasioning with workmen & staff that safe work practices are followed. • Ensure that proper records as per the guidelines of Corporate Safety are maintained. To liaise with various departments and ensure this is strictly followed. • To keep regular contact with Corporate Safety regarding training needs of the unit & required emphasis to be given to this area. • Ensure formal reports/reviews of action plans of EHS audit and regular follow up also on Internal audits. • Plan and ensure that EHS Committee Meetings (Central as well as Departmental) are held regularly. • Ensure risk assessment / hazard spotting exercises are carried out on regular basis. Requirements Must have Diploma by RLIS/CLIS in the field of Industrial Safety Management being a statutory requirement • Should have thorough knowledge of various production machines on the floor, materials used including hazardous ones & their MSDS etc. He should know complete details of various machine guarding and the importance of electrical inter-locking whenever necessary • Should have approx. 10 years shop floor experience & be conversant with safe work habits so as to educate…
