MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the organization, and to play a crucial role in providing insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts based on historical performance, industry trends, and strategic initiatives. Collaborates with department heads and senior management to gather input, validate assumptions, and consolidate financial forecasts. Monitors budget performance and provides detailed explanations for variances to ensure financial goals are met. Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness, and provides detailed variance analysis of actual results against budgeted and forecasted figures. Identifies key trends and drivers of financial performance and communicate findings to management. Develops and maintains financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Conducts scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes and assess financial risks and opportunities.
